A major machine investment has successfully completed factory acceptance in Thailand, as customers from Turkey officially signed off their new Sodick AL100G ‘H’ wire EDM machine.
Representing Sodick Europe during the visit was Manabu, who accompanied the customer through the final stages of acceptance before the machine begins its next journey to Turkey.
The AL100G ‘H’ is an impressive addition to Sodick’s wire EDM portfolio, particularly for manufacturers requiring the ability to machine larger and more complex components. One of the standout features of the machine is its increased open height, allowing users to process significantly larger workpieces while maintaining the precision, stability, and performance Sodick technology is renowned for worldwide.
As component sizes continue to increase across industries such as aerospace, energy, tooling, and heavy engineering, machine capacity is becoming an increasingly important factor alongside accuracy and automation. The AL100G ‘H’ addresses those demands by combining large working capabilities with advanced EDM technology.
The successful factory acceptance highlights another strong example of international collaboration within the manufacturing industry, bringing together Sodick Europe, customers from Turkey, and dealer partner Istanbul Makina.
Sodick also extended thanks to Istanbul Makina for their continued support and partnership in delivering advanced EDM solutions to manufacturers across the Turkish market.
With the machine now approved and ready for delivery, the investment marks another significant step forward for high-precision manufacturing capability in the region.
